QUEEN, semplicemente mitici...

Qualcuno ha sentito il nuovo disco con Paul Rodgers?
Per me è ancora presto per esprimere un giudizio definitivo, ma posso dire che si tratta di un buon lavoro di (hard) rock anni 70, in cui si sentono le melodie dei Free e dei Bad Company unite a quelle dei Queen (con i sempre riconoscibilissimi May e Taylor ai loro strumenti).

Una cosa è certa: la canzone Cosmos Rockin' è la canzone rock'n'roll dell'anno, roba da fare invidia ai Motley Crue..

io sto ascoltando c-lebrity e sembra un pezzo blues... rivoglio i queen

Il nuovo disco me lo voglio sentire quando ho assimilato bene i nuovi di Metallica, Haggard e DragonForce, altrimenti si verificherà un accavallamento micidiale...
Che comunque si verificherà, perché nel contempo dovrò sentire anche i nuovi di Bob Catley e di Neal Morse.

I Queen purtroppo non ci saranno mai +, triste ma vero. I Queen erano 4 musicisti che funzionavano alla perfezione quando suonavano insieme. Se manca anche solo uno di questi musicisti, viene a perdersi qualcosa...figuriamoci quando ne mancano due! Sinceramente in questo disco si sente la mancanza di John Deacon. Forse non è mai stato un bassista tecnicissimo, ma di sicuro sapeva come si scriveva un giro di basso memorabile (e non ce ne sono molti in grado di farlo)..
Poi Paul Rodgers ha portato ai Queen un clima abbastanza diverso a quello a cui erano abituati, un clima hard/blues alla Free, ovviamente. Insomma, è una collaborazione di sicuro interessante, ma è ovvio che i vedi Queen erano altri!
